  6. VB Icon Extractor copies icons that are embedded in Windows .EXE and
  7. .DLL files as standard .ICO icon files to the directory you specify.
  8. Perfect for the icon collector and VB Icon Browser.

  10. An example usage of this software is to extract the icons from the
  11. Windows 3.1 MORICONS.DLL (106 icons) and other files, then use Valley
  12. Programming's VB Icon Browser program to view and produce a printed
  13. catalog of all of the extracted icons.  Another example usage of this
  14. program is to extract the desktop icon of a Windows program such as
  15. Write, then use any icon editor to customize the extracted icon, then
  16. replace the original program's desktop icon with the customized icon.
